Concern:
This is a letter
of recommendation for Mr. Cree Morris
for a position as NFL Mentor. I have
known Cree for over 10 years now on a
professional and personal basis. As a
coach, trainer, and owner of Fitness
Quest in San Diego, CA, I have the
opportunity to work with dozens of NFL
athletes every year. These athletes are
both NFL All-Pros, as well as guys just
starting out their careers in the
League.
Cree has worked
work many of our NFL and college
athletes over the past 3 seasons and has
done a great job. He primarily has
worked with the quarterbacks and
wide-receivers in the Group and has
assisted with individual sessions, group
sessions, and large team training
sessions.
There are several
key characteristics that make Cree a
standout-out candidate for this
position. First off, Cree is a great
leader and commands great respect. From
the young kids up the NFL All-Pros, they
listen to coaching cues and words of
wisdom. He has a great balance of
offering specific feedback to general
praise and motivation.
Second, Cree has
great character. He is respectful to ALL
he comes in contact with (kids, parents,
athletes, fellow coaches, and visitors
peering in on a session). He has a
likeable personality and you can feel
his genuine interest in helping athletes
be their best. Additionally, he has an
incredible work ethic. Cree works 7 days
a week and does whatever it takes to get
the job done.
Lastly, Cree’s
life experience makes him a great
candidate for this position. He played
the game of football at a high level. He
has coached at all levels, including a
professional stint as the head coach of
the San Diego Riptide. He mentors kids
now of all levels. He is a great father
of 2 boys. He is a man you can trust. He
is a person whom you can give a list of
objectives and expectations and he will
execute them unabashedly. His character
is of the highest quality.
Cree Morris will be a great addition to
the NFL Mentorship program. I can say
with 100% confidence that he will do a
great job helping the NFL not only
attain, but excel, in reaching their
